‘Yachanita’, Rainforest Series 4

During an internship on a rainforest conservation project this tiny little frog with a transparent underbelly came to our attention. No bigger than an adult thumb nail, this beautiful creature was discovered to have evolved from two different species, creating a whole new species extention of his own.

‘Yachanita’ is from the fourth series of the mixed media ‘Rainforest Series’ which features the inhabitants of the rainforest.  I painted this whilst in the Ecuadorian Amazon on a six month expedition.  If you’d like to order a print of the little fellow, please contact Otter’s Pool Studio on 01483 503328 info@otterspoolstudio.co.uk Tues-Sat 10am-5pm.
